Creating a webhook for Jira is available for any Jira Admin.
Auxiliary Digital will provide you with your unique webhook URL. For example. https://edge.vindexgateway.com/api/v1/evaluate/jira?customer_id=acme_corp
Navigate to https://{{YOUR CLOUD ID}}.atlassian.net/plugins/servlet/webhooks#
Create a Secret for the Webhook.
You will need to provide this to Auxiliary Digital to ensure a secure connection
Under Issue “Created” and “Updated”. This will send all issues to Vindex for scoring.
For custom control, add a JQL to limit the types of projects or programs that you want to have a Vindex score.
No other settings need to be configured. Hit “Create” to enable the webhook
Navigate to https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens and create a token that has Jira Scopes.
You will need to provide this token to Auxiliary Digital so Vindex can add Comments to the Scored Jira Tickets
